    On weakly circularly minimal groups.Beibut Sh Kulpeshov & Viktor V. Verbovskiy - 2015 - Mathematical Logic Quarterly 61 (1-2):82-90.
Here we study properties of weakly circularly minimal cyclically ordered groups. The main result of the paper is that any weakly circularly minimal cyclically ordered group is abelian.

The institutionalization of global strategies for the transformation of society and education in the context of critical theory.Viktor V. Zinchenko - 2015 - Anthropological Measurements of Philosophical Research 7:50-66.
The purpose. Critical social philosophy of education strives to provide a radical critique of existing models of education in the so-called Western models of democracy, creating progressive alternative models. In this context, the proposed integrative metatheory, which is based on classical and modern sources, concepts, aims for a comprehensive understanding and reconstruction of the phenomenon of education. One of the main tasks in the sphere of education’s democratization today, therefore, is to bring to education the results of restructuring and democratization (...)

This article analyzes the fundamental aesthetic views of two major representatives of European culture, the Croation Juraj Krizanic and the Moldavian Nicolai Spatarul, who worked in Russia in the second half of the 17th century, and who through their works made it possible for Russian culture of the time to adopt the ideas of Western European aesthetics. On a classification of theories without the independence property.Viktor Verbovskiy - 2013 - Mathematical Logic Quarterly 59 (1-2):119-124.
A theory is stable up to Δ if any Δ-type over a model has a few extensions up to complete types. We prove that a theory has no the independence property iff it is stable up to some Δ, where each equation image has no the independence property.

    CM-triviality and relational structures.Viktor Verbovskiy & Ikuo Yoneda - 2003 - Annals of Pure and Applied Logic 122 (1-3):175-194.
Continuing work of Baldwin and Shi 1), we study non-ω-saturated generic structures of the ab initio Hrushovski construction with amalgamation over closed sets. We show that they are CM-trivial with weak elimination of imaginaries. Our main tool is a new characterization of non-forking in these theories.

On definability of types and relative stability.Viktor Verbovskiy - 2019 - Mathematical Logic Quarterly 65 (3):332-346.
In this paper, we consider the question of definability of types in non‐stable theories. In order to do this we introduce a notion of a relatively stable theory: a theory is stable up to Δ if any Δ‐type over a model has few extensions up to complete types. We prove that an n‐type over a model of a theory that is stable up to Δ is definable if and only if its Δ‐part is definable.

    Coset-minimal groups.Oleg Belegradek, Viktor Verbovskiy & Frank O. Wagner - 2003 - Annals of Pure and Applied Logic 121 (2-3):113-143.
A totally ordered group G is called coset-minimal if every definable subset of G is a finite union of cosets of definable subgroups intersected with intervals with endpoints in G{±∞}. Continuing work in Belegradek et al. 1115) and Point and Wagner 261), we study coset-minimality, as well as two weak versions of the notion: eventual and ultimate coset-minimality. These groups are abelian; an eventually coset-minimal group, as a pure ordered group, is an ordered abelian group of finite regular rank. Any (...)

The philosophical definition of violence today is?incomplete? and leaves a?gap? between the phenomenon and the concept. This is due to the fact that the concept of?violence? was/is strangely included in the general philosophical categorial line. In domestic and Western discourse, the problem field of violence contains, above all, political and ethical meanings. 32. Viktor Emil Von gebsattel on the doctor-patient relationship.Jos V. M. Welie - 1995 - Theoretical Medicine and Bioethics 16 (1).
This article provides a summary overview of the ideas on medical anthropology and anthropological medicine of the German philosopher-psychiatrist Viktor Emil von Gebsattel (1883–1974), and discusses in more detail his views on the doctor-patient relationship. It is argued that Von Gebsattel''s warning against a dehumanization of medicine when the person of both patient and physician are not explicitly present in their relationship remains valid notwithstanding the modern emphasis on respect for patient (and provider) autonomy.

The humanity is examined on two levels: first as a natural biological quality having a moral dimension and a moral impact, and then as a moral quality, which is a specific human product and a result of cultural evolution, i.e. of human moral deve-lopment. According to the forms of the realized humanity the author differentiates between active and passive forms of humanity; the active humanity is further divided into a positive and a negative ones.

The main interpretations of this argument, formulated both contemporaries of Nesmelov ) and modern researchers of his legacy are considered. The basic prerequisites and origins of Nesmelov’s anthropological doctrine are analyzed. The main of them were V. Snegiryov’s psychological doctrine and anthropological ideas of St. Gregory of Nyssa. Historical experience shows that politics, despite all its shortcomings, is the best tool created by people to organize the common life of large groups of the population and manage them. Therefore, the desire of thinkers of all times and peoples to obtain knowledge about politics is understandable, which, in its rigor, clarity, and accuracy of forecast, would be comparable to scientific knowledge. The present review analyzes the works of the Russian social scientist Viktor P. Makarenko, who researched the triad (...)

    Philosophical-Anthropological Contribution by Viktor Frankl - the Human, Meaning, Illness and Health.Roman Adamczyk - 2019 - E-Logos 26 (2):4-13.
